I have posted "What does the Region do for Area's" on the Regional site and think the reverse here is appropriate. Our Region has serious positions open that are crippling it's performance. What do we do to support our Region?
Thanks to Webmaster for posting the open positions on the Regional site. I have copied and pasted them here.

"Open Positions: Secretary, Activities Resource Officer, H&I Rresource Officer, Literature Distribution Officer Alt, Outreach Resource Officer, and Insurance Resource Officer. With a few of those being open, it might be why region has not sponsored a regional activity. It would be cool to have a big get together besides the convention."

It would be great to have another Regional event aside from the Convention and Region seems to have the resources, excpting the people.

We have a busy two months in our Area but after that i would like us to caravan to a Regional meeting. I'll provide transportation and we'll figure lunch out somehow together. We might take a side trip to "Costco spa"
(what my wife calls it, lol.)

Let's support our Region and maybe they can do better supporting us?

We do for our Region

CIRNA sponsored the CAR Assembly in MBA and it was a great presentation. The handouts and video information was well laid out and I feel all questions were fielded well and explained thoroughly.
It was lightly attended, only about 15 people, including the RD and RD alt., treasurer and alt. treasurer from CIRNA and MBA cair. There were a couple people from out of town and RCM's from MBA and LDA were there.....
Looking forward to being a part of the upcoming vote at my home group to be able to send that info with our GSR to Area in the months to come.

Area

MBANA has sent a Regional Committee Member-RCM to the meetings monthly, since we became an area. MBANA has also made donatins to CIRNA- fund flow as outlined in the guide to local service. A few members from MBANA have taken service positions at CIRNA. MBANA has hosted the CIRNA meeting as it traveld to each area.
Really, that is alot.

I agree with EricB and think our Area supports Region and World very well.
