CIRNA Regional Delegate Report January 2010

I have not been contacted by anyone regarding my having asked for photos of our region, members and or events. For the final time, our zone is putting together a power point presentation for the conference in April and the deadline is this month for photos.
Once again, the CAR, or Conference Agenda Report is now available for viewing on NA.org.
In January we will be attending the Western States Zonal Forum in San Diego. At the forum we will have World Board members reviewing the CAR with us and all NA members are welcome to attend as guests. Once we review the CAR we will be able to present it to our region for review and direction on how to vote at the conference in April.
We would like to present the CAR to all CIRNA members and we will be securing a site to have a regional assembly for that purpose. Ideally we would like to have all CIRNA GSR’s attend so as to present, review and discuss the CAR material. Once having done so, GSR’s will need to present the material to their groups and get a vote to be brought back to the Delegate team so we can vote as per your direction in April. Groups that do not bring back their votes will not have a say and so all are encouraged to go on line and also attend the assembly which we hope to have early in February.

The time window is extremely short and so having the assembly as early as possible in February is necessary and allow time for the GSR’s to come back with votes from their groups in March. We will be having the assembly on Saturday February 6 and the location will be communicated shortly.
