Ok! We've got a local event set up for people trying to beat the heat and get some recovery!
We rented the Pawley Pool in Indio for 2 hours - from 4:30 to 6:30 so we can have some fun in the sun. Ticket price is $3.00 a head and children 2 and under are free!
At 6:30 it's off to the park next door for a potluck picnic. Activities will provide the bottled water.
From 7pm to 8pm we will have a speaker from the Southwest Area, Teri B, share her experience, strength, and hope with us. Teri B has 18 years clean and is very active in service.

We will celebrate World Unity Day together on August 22nd. Eric B. has secured a location for us and made a flyer with the details.

Saturday ,August 22, 2009 is Narcotics Anonymous World Unity Day.

MBANA is having a meeting at 10:30 am which coincides with the main meeting at the World Convention in Barcelona, Spain. We will again have the opportunity to attend this meeting and be a small part of the World Wide Fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous and be a part of world unity.

It's hot in the desert and time to hit the beach - again!

This beach trip we will be visiting Huntington beach. We will meet at the AM/PM in 1000 Palms at 6:30 am. If you need a ride or would like to drive with the caravan - meet us there - please don't be late!

As always this event is a potluck, so bring any specialties! The activities committee will be providing the main course.

We will bring the horseshoes, but but otherwise there will be fun & fellowship all day. The speaker will share sometime between 1-2 pm.
